Forewing: 4.5 to 5mm

Habitats: Chalk downland, lower mountain slopes with open woodland.

Habits: The moth occasionally comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva mines the berries of Juniper. Its presence is indicated by a small hole in the berry. The full-fed larva overwinters before pupating under moss or under the soil.
