Habits: The moth occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds internally in the terminal shoots of Norway Spruce. This causes them to discolour, die and then fall off. It pupates in the shoot. Its presence is indicated by a small circular silk covered hole on the underside of the shoot.
