Habitats: Parkland, gardens and amenity planting.

Habits: The moth comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva mines the tips of shoots of cypress, Leyland Cypress or Juniper. This causes them to discolour. It pupates in a spindle shaped cocoon spun amongst the foliage of the foodplant.
