Habitats: Chalk downland, lower mountain slopes with open woodland and gardens.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva mines the leaves of Juniper. It enters from the upper surface, eating the apical portion and leaving excrement in the mine and the leaf discoloured. Without entering the stem it then moves on to another leaf. It pupates in spun needles on the ground.
