Habitats: Deciduous woodland, hedgerows, gardens or wherever the foodplant is found.

Habits: The moth comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva spins a terminal shoot of Hawthorn. It then mines the shoot. Pupation is in a netted cocoon folded in a leaf or spun in the leaf litter.
