Habitats: Parks and gardens.
Habits: The moth flies at dusk and later will occasionally come to light.
Foodplant: The larva mines Common Laburnum, Dyer's Greenweed and occasionally Garden Lupin making a small blotch on the upper surface, then a gallery mine leading to a large blotch that may occupy half of the leaf. The frass in the gallery is green, while the frass in the final blotch is black and arranged in a spiral. It pupates in a white cocoon spun to a leaf or in the leaf litter.
