Habitats: Where the foodplant is found.
Habits: The moth is easily disturbed by day and flies at dusk.
Foodplant: The larva makes a surface bark mine that heads upwards on Common Broom or Dyer's Greenweed. The mine is shallower and browner at the start than that of Trifurcula immundella. It pupates in a white cocoon spun to a stem of the foodplant.
