Habitats: Woodland margins, scrub, hedgerows and verges.
Habits: The moth occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds from leaves folded upward and spun into a tube on Yarrow or Tansy. On the European mainland it is also recorded from Mugwort. It pupates in a cocoon in the earth.
