Habits: The moth flies on sunny afternoons. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in a slight web on the underside of a leaf of Common Comfrey, Tuberous Comfrey, Lungwort or Common Gromwell. The larva has also been recorded from Wood Forget-me-not. It pupates in a white cocoon in the leaf litter.
