Habitats: Wasteground and dry pasture.
Habits: The moth rests on the foodplant. The original 19th century records are thought to be erroneus or faked.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. On mainland Europe the larva feeds on the spun leaves and flowers of lungworts and gromwells. It pupates in a white cocoon in the leaf litter.
