Habitats: Dry grassland and embankments.
Habits: The moth was resident on one site where it was last recorded in 2011.
Foodplant: The larva feeds within the protection of spun leaves of Petty Whin, where it gnaws irregular oval holes and mines a leaf causing it to become a bright pale yellow.
