Forewing: 7 to 9.5mm
Habitats: Coastal wasteland, sand-dunes, hedge banks and low cliffs.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The young larva feeds between two spun leaves on Balm-leaved Figwort. In the later instars it feeds under a folded leaf. The site of pupation does not seem to be recorded, other than it is a brown pupa in a cocoon.
