Habits: The moth can be disturbed from vegetation in the day and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds within open ended, rolled leaves of Cock's-foot and False-brome. On the European mainland it has been recorded from Wood Small-reed, Common Couch and occasionally Common Reed. It pupates in a freshly spun rolled leaf.
