Forewing: 6 to 7.5mm
Habitats: river-banks, marshes and other wetlands.
Habits: The moth rests on tree trunks during the day. It flies from dusk and comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds within the spun leaves of White Willow, Crack Willow and possibly other willows. On the European mainland it has been recorded from Goat Willow and White Willow.
