Forewing: 5 to 6mm
Habitats: Fenland and damp grassland.
Habits: Recorded in 1972 and 1973 at Chippenham Fen NNR, but now extinct. Discovered in West Yorkshire from 2011 to 2013 and a single specimen was identified in Buckinghamshire in 2013.
Foodplant: The early stages in Britain are unknown. On the European mainland it is recorded as feeding in the stem of Greater Knapweed, and mining along the midrib of a leaf of Marsh Thistle, but it is also associated with Saw-wort and White Butterbur.
