Habits: The moth comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva lives in a silk gallery in the leaf and flower shoots of Shrubby Sea-blite or occasionally Annual Sea-blite. The shoots eventually wither and turn brown. It pupates in a tough, soil-covered cocoon at the base of the foodplant.
