Habits: The moth flies above or near its foodplant in the day, often in numbers. It occasionally comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva feeds on Common Nettle and occasionally Pellitory-of-the-wall from a web spinning the edges of the upperside of the leaves together. The larva pupates in a dense elongated cocoon in or close to the web.
