Habits: The moth has been recorded many times in sunshine on the flowers of Shasta Daisy. It occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on Apple, Wild Pear, Hawthorn, Rowan, whitebeams, Wild Plum, Sour Cherry and occasionally Cotoneaster spp. It feeds from a web, drawing together the edges of the upperside of a leaf. Its actions skeletonises the leaf. The larva pupates in a dense silk cocoon on a leaf.
