Habits: The moth flies in sunshine and visits the flowers of Creeping Thistle.
Foodplant: The larva feeds under a fine web on the top of an upward curled leaf of Silver Birch. These are usually bush-like specimens in a sheltered site. The larva pupates in a dense silk cocoon often away from the feeding site.
