Habits: The moth is easily disturbed in the day. It flies from dusk and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva is polyphagous and feeds within a rolled leaf on deciduous trees and occasionally conifers, brambles, honeysuckles and St John's-worts. It pupates within the larval habitation.
