Habits: The moth is easily disturbed in the day. It flies from dusk and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The polyphagous larva at first feeds in a bud of Raspberry, Black Currant, Hop, Bog Myrtle, rose, apple, plum, pear, other fruit trees, other deciduous trees and occasionally conifers. It later feeds within a rolled leaf or spun leaves, flowers or developing fruit. It pupates in a cocoon within the larval feeding site.
