Foodplant: After hibernating while small the larva feeds in rolled leaves on birch, elm, Field Maple, apple, oak, Ivy, Bog Myrtle, Bilberry and a wide variety of other deciduous trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. It pupates in the larval leaf roll or on a fresh roll on herbaceous plants.
