Foodplant: After overwintering the polyphagous larva feeds from between two spun leaves on Ivy, privets, honeysuckles, Bilberry, woundworts and strawberries, or spun needles on larch, spruces, firs and pines. It may also feed on many other trees, shrubs and herbaceous species. It pupates in its spinning.
