Habits:The moth is easily disturbed in the day. It flies in the evening and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva spins the petals and florets of Ox-eye Daisy, Sea Aster, Cat's-ear, Yarrow, Chamomile and other daisies. On buttercups, daisies and other species it inwardly draws the petals together. It has also been recorded from Field Mouse-ear, Dyer's Greenweed, Primrose and White Campion. It pupates in a folded edge of a leaf or in the leaf litter.
