Habitats: Bogs, wet heathland, marshland, strawberry fields and gardens.
Habits: It flies during the afternoon and again at dusk. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds from within the folded or spun leaves of Wild Strawberry, Cultivated Strawberry, Marsh Cinquefoil, Water Avens and Great Burnet. It pupates in a cocoon within the larval habitation.
