Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light and sugar.
Foodplant: The larva spins the terminal shoots of its foodplant into a tube and lives within. On the west coast of Scotland the foodplant appears to be mainly Bog Myrtle. Bilberry and Cowberry are said to be the main foodplants in the central Scottish Highlands. It pupates within the spinning.
