Forewing: 8 to 11mm
Habitats: Moorland, mountain moorland and bogs.
Habits: The moth occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds from a long tube (5 to 7cm), of spun leaves of Bog-myrtle, Bilberry or Cowberry, and sometimes apples and birches. It pupates in the spinning or in the leaf litter.
