Habits: The moth rests on tree trunks during the day, flies at sunset and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds from a spun shoot or folded leaf of White Willow, Goat Willow, Grey Willow, Aspen or Black Poplar. It pupates in the larval habitation.
