Habitats: Wetland habitats.
Habits: It is easily disturbed when sunny and flies from sunset until dusk. The moth has not been recorded in Britain since 1920.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it is recorded as feeding on Galingale (not present at the moths former recorded sites) and Erect Canary Clover (which is not native to Britain).
