Forewing: 6 to 7mm

Habitats: Boggy heathland, stream margins and moorland.

Habits: The moth flies around the foodplant on warm sunny days.

Foodplant: The larva lives in the spun terminal shoots of Grey Willow, Eared Willow and possibly other willows. It pupates in the spinning or in a spun leaf of the foodplant.
