Habits: The moth is easily disturbed from rest on its foodplants in the afternoon and flies towards sunset. It occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the roots and rootstock of Yarrow or Tansy. It pupates in the larval feeding place or in a cocoon in the soil.
