Habits: Its habits are little known in Britain. It is now resident in parts of Suffolk. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the winged seeds of Field Maple. It leaves the seed when it falls.
On the European mainland it also feeds on Sycamore and Norway Maple.
