Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva lives high in the trees, where it feeds in a rolled leaf of Small-leaved Lime, skeletonising the leaf surface. It pupates in a white oval cocoon.
On the European mainland it also feeds on sallows, Hazel and Alder.
