Habits: The moth is nocturnal. It can be disturbed in the day and it comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva feeds in a folded leaf of oak, Alder and possibly birches and Bog-myrtle. It eats holes between the veins of the leaf and pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
