Habits: The moth flies close to the ground on warm, sunny evenings. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the pods of Sea Pea, Common Bird's-foot Trefoil and Spiny Restharrow. It overwinters in a spherical sand-covered cocoon, but spins a fresh cocoon to pupate.
