Habits: The moth can be found in the day sitting on the walls and windows in warehouses. It flies from dusk.

Foodplant: The larva feeds from a frass-filled, dense silk gallery amongst grain, flour, cereal, beans, seeds, garlic bulbs, nuts and dried fruit such as figs and currants. The full-fed larva overwinters in a silk cocoon amongst its food source.
