Habitats: Synanthropic. Food warehouses.

Habits: The moth usually occurs under cover, but has been caught out of doors. It is nocturnal and comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva feeds on dried fruits such as figs, currants and raisins and also meal. It has been reared from the calyx of a Pomegranite.
