Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva feeds gregariously in the spun flower-heads and shoots of Dark Mullein, Great Mullein and Orange Mullein and perhaps other mulleins. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
