Habitats: Mainly wetland habitats.
Habits: The moth comes to light. In 1869 it was a temporary resident.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it feeds under a web on the underside of leaves of Water Mint, Corn Mint, Peppermint and Gypsywort, skeletonising the leaves and later making holes in the stems.
