Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. The polyphagous larva feeds from a silk web on a leaf of Spinach, beet, Cotton, Soya Bean, Maize and many other crops and herbaceous plants. It pupates in a cocoon on a spun leaf.
