Habitats:

Habits: The moth is nocturnal. It feeds at Buddleia and Ivy blossom and comes to light.

Foodplant: An adult has been observed in Britain laying eggs on Garden Privet. On the European mainland the larva feeds on the buds, fruit and lower surface of the leaves of Wild Olive, White Jasmine, Ash, Wild Privet, Strawberry Tree, Mock Privet and Forsythia. It pupates in a silk cocoon on a spun leaf.
