Habitats:
Habits: The moth is found in Australia, India, Japan, Africa and southern Europe. It has more recently been recorded further north in Europe including one at St Marys on the Isles of Scilly.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. Elsewhere the larva feeds on Hibiscus, Caralluma marocana, Stapelia decora, Asclepias curassavica, Cynanchum acutum, Calotropis procera, Calotropis gigantea, Pergularia daemia, Leptadenia madagascariensis and many other tropical plants.
