Habitats:

Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light.

Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it has been recorded feeding on the young shoots, spun leaves and seeds of Purple Toadflax, Common Snapdragon, Sesame, Round-leaved Fluellen and Sharp-leaved Fluellen. The full-fed larva overwinters in a cocoon in spun leaves where it pupates in the spring.
