Habits: The moth flies from dusk and comes to light and sugar.
Foodplant: The larva feeds at night on the leaves of Bramble and Dewberry. It appears to prefer partially shaded plants under trees. It probably also feeds on Raspberry which it accepts in captivity. Pupation takes place in a cocoon just under the soil.
