Habitats: Mature woodland and hedgerows in heavily wooded areas.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds at night on the leaves of Pendunculate Oak, Sessile Oak and possibly Turkey Oak. During the day it rests under a leaf curled down using silk. It pupates in a cocoon in moss, leaf litter or just under the soil.
