Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a slender winding gallery mine in a leaf of Rowan, whitebeams or Himalayan Cotoneaster. It widens into a blotch that may be almost circular. The midrib is rarely crossed, but the mine can occupy most of the leaflet. There are often several mines in leaf. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
