Habits:

Foodplant: The larva forms a slender gallery mine that abruptly widens into a blotch in a leaf of Blackthorn or other Prunus ssp. The blotch is more elongate in the mine of the autumn generation larva. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
