Forewing: 2 to 3mm
Habitats: Wherever Brambles or its other foodplants are present.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a long gallery in a Bramble leaf. The frass is dispersed or occasionally linear. The later generation overwinters half-fed in a mine. The larva also mines Raspberry, Dewberry, Water Avens, Wood Avens, Wild Strawberry and Common Agrimony, but on these species it does not overwinter in the mine. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
