Habitats: Dry pasture, embankments and verges, but otherwise wherever the foodplants are found.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a long, narrow, winding gallery often following a vein or the leaf margin of Common Agrimony, Tormentil, Creeping Cinquefoil, Silverweed or Wild Strawberry. The gallery is finally widened into a large blotch. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
