Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a narrow gallery mine filled with frass and following a Bramble leaf vein. The mine has several reversing turns before it widens into an elongate blotch. In sunny sites the mine becomes purple-red. It pupates in a cocoon spun on a leaf.
